Yesterday:

  • Call with Ronnie and Katie about Fling Study
    • Ronnie will make changes to station lists, then we are good to go
  • Reproduced Rumi's results using 11.2.3 and her scenarios
    • Results do not look good when using URS codebase for LF
  • Initial analysis of space and time requirements for running Fling Study
    • Short summary: 1.7Tb and about 3 months :-(!

Today:

  • Organize Fling Study information on the wiki, create progress tables
    • Trac #95 (wiki updating)
  • Test HPCC setup with Fling Study scenario 101 and compare result to Phil's run
  • Meet with Phil and John Yu wrt Fling Study strategy
  • Make trunk work both with and without site response

Ongoing:

  • Look for ways to break up the GF directory layout, some ideas are:
    • First candidate is removing the plot directory from the GF directory
    • Create separate validation package
    • Separate events and codebases from each other
