CFM Faults
Q: "How do I add/import new faults?"
A: To import new faults, click on the button that has the image of a plus sign. This will pop up a file manager. Open the "CFM_TSurfFiles_v.2.5" folder, then the "Separated2.5" folder. Select desired faults (use "shift" or "ctrl" key to select multiple faults). Click "Import." Type in Import Name, and click "OK." Type in citation(s), reference(s), and additional notes, and click "OK." This information can be viewed later on by clicking the "Edit fault information" button. Your additional notes will be displayed in the "Notes" tab at the bottom of the screen.

Q: " How do I view faults/toggle visibility?"
A: To view faults, select/highlight the faults and click on the check box beside it or click on the button that looks like an eye.

Q: "How do I delete faults?"
A: To delete faults, select desired (or undesired, as it were) faults (again "shift" and "ctrl" may be used to select multiple faults). Click on the button that has the image of a minus sign, and select "Yes."

Q: "How do I create a fault group?"
A: To create a fault group, select the desired faults (i.e. make them visible), click on the button that looks like a plus sign (located below the Groups tab), provide a group name, and click "OK."

Q: "How do I view my group(s) in a future session?"
A: To view your group(s) in a future session, make sure that the loaded fault libraries have the same "import name" as they did when the groups were created so that the program can identify them.

Q: "When I select a group, faults are not being highlighted. What should I do?
A: If you're selecting groups and individual faults are not being highlighted, you need to exit the program WITHOUT removing the faults, and restart. Removing faults before exiting the program will disable groups during the next session. Also, be sure to give the imported faults the same import name that was used when creating the group(s).

Q: "How do you delete a fault group?"
A: To delete a fault group, click on the group name, press the button that looks like a minus sign (below the Groups tab), and select "Yes."

Q: "How do you change an individual fault's color?"
A: To change an individual fault's color, click on the colored box beside the fault name. A color picker will pop up. Click on the desired color and select "Apply."

Q: "How do you change the color of multiple faults?"
A: To change the color of multiple faults, highlight the fault names (you can do this by clicking on one and dragging your mouse to select others, or you can use the "shift" and "ctrl" buttons). Then, select the color wheel button. A color picker will pop up. Click on the desired color and select "Apply."

Q: "How do you change an individual fault's mesh state?"
A: To change an individual fault's mesh state, click on the mesh box beside the fault name. You can choose between five different mesh states.

Q: "How do you change the mesh state of multiple faults?"
