Overview
Description:

The Standard Rupture Format (SRF) Browser plugin is a tool that can read and display a fault rupture of the Standard Rupture Format created by Robert Graves. The plugin can display both maximum displacement as a static figure, and animate the displacement and velocity as they would occur in real time or a multiple of real time that can be scaled from 1 - 10.

Technical Specs:

An SRF file parsing tool was created and add to the SCEC-VDO library, this tool can read files stored both locally and from a SCEC hosted web server. While it is possible to display multiple ruptures, only one rupture can animate at a time.
