Version	Description
v.2012	The 2012 version of SCEC-VDO. Download Link (Right click "Save link as"): http://www.scec.org/scec-vdo/SCEC_VDO.jnlp Requirements: JRE (Java Runtime Environment) must be installed. Open the SCEC_VDO.jnlp file which will first download and install Java3D on the user's computer. The .jnlp will then download the SCEC_VDO.jar executable on the user's computer and will launch SCEC-VDO automatically. It will also create a shortcut to SCEC-VDO (in the same folder location as the .jnlp) that you can use in the future so you don't have to redownload everything again.
v.2011	The 2011 version of SCEC-VDO includes two new plugins that enable space-time visualization of recent earthquake sequences and incorporated geographical information.
v.2010	The 2010 version of SCEC-VDO includes three new plugins that enable better visualization of recent earthquake sequences and incorporated improved forecasting techniques.
v.2009	The 2009 version of SCEC-VDO addressed many previous issues. The ability to easily upload different types of data and create a plug-in is the biggest feature of this update.
v.2008	The 2008 version of SCEC-VDO added more functionality to the core program.
